Hotel Apeneste offers rooms with views of the city.
A continental breakfast is offered to guests daily. For an enjoyable stay, the hotel offers the à la carte restaurant serving Italian dishes. La Lanterna serves a good range of Italian food and lies a few steps from the Apeneste.
Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Apeneste, I found myself grappling with the cost versus luxury dilemma that many travelers face. While the hotel boasts a prime location just minutes from the main street and beaches, the experience was hindered by inconsistent value for money. The room, albeit clean and equipped with air conditioning, was overshadowed by a rather cramped bathroom and excessive noise that made for a restless night. The restaurant, while offering a limited menu, did deliver on authenticity but seemed overpriced for what was served. On the upside, Apeneste featured a lovely terrace and a seasonal outdoor pool for relaxation. The complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch, and the staff were welcoming and enthusiastic despite the quieter end-of-season atmosphere. Given the level of service and amenities available, one might suggest that travelers weigh their options carefully. While it may tick some boxes for a comfortable stay, there are certainly more cost-effective alternatives in the area worth considering.
